Open Access Talk for linguists today at 3pm

I’m giving a talk today to my colleagues in Pitt’s linguistics department. The title is:

Open Access: What it is, why you should care, and how being Open can build your scholarly profile.

I’m still putting slides together, but if you’re interested you can view the slides here. This talk is inspired by a similar workshop given by Erin McKiernan and Ross Mounce at OpenCon2014, but tailored to linguists. I also give a nice little shameless plug for the Open Library of the Humanities.

If you’re in Pittsburgh, drop by the Frick Fine Arts Building on Pitt’s campus, room 204, at 3pm today.
